How to submit your real wedding to The Best Wedding App
We LOVE weddings and we can't wait to hear all about your big day.
If you feel as though your wedding was different, quirky, extravagant, micro or simply chic, then we want to hear from you.
We welcome submissions of all kinds: big weddings, small weddings, elopements, an editorial, styled shoots and engagements.
We are committed to featuring the best of the best weddings from Australia and New Zealand, so hit us with your weddings and don’t be shy.
We are open to any submissions; however, we have a few requirements:
- Put the couples name and location in the title of the email submission, with the words Submission for example: (Submission of John and Sally Smith at Stones of the Yarra Valley, Coldstream, Victoria). Please do not embed your photos into the email or send Facebook links, DM’s or WeTransfers
- Tell us the State, Suburb and Country of the wedding.
- We want to know EVERY DETAIL about the big day. Who was involved, how it was planned, what the theme was, etc.
- Please tag in the name of every supplier who was involved in the day. From the dress maker to the celebrant and every detail in between.
- We love photos and we would like a variety that best encapsulates the day. Please include a collection of 150-200 professional photos. Do not watermark your images, no collages or images larger than 3000px wide.
- Please submit ready to view photos in jpeg form. Please do not allow the file to be over 500 kb. Share these with us via Pixieset, Dropbox or a similar platform. We prefer direct links to these platforms and would prefer not to have to download them. Don’t forget to give us the password, alter the privacy settings and give us the pin to download the photos.
- Submissions can only be made by a photographer or couple with the full permission of the photographer and the consent of couple. By filling in this form you give The Best Wedding App permission to republish you photos.
- Please advise us if your submissions have appeared in any other publication (digital or print).
- By submitting your wedding to us you are agreeing that you own the copyright of the photos and you hereby assume responsibility or ownership of its copyrighted work. Remember, these images may appear on our app or website associated with The Best Wedding App. They may also appear on our social sites: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Google.
- Please do not contact us regarding your submission, we will contact you once we have decided if your submission is right for our platform.
- Please follow the above guidelines and remember if our guidelines are not met, we will unfortunately have to decline a submission.
